Fran Whited

Fran Whited of Newport, Oregon has taught Home Economics for 49 years. She first taught in Nebraska and then moved to Oregon in 1961. She taught school at Toledo High School until she retired in 1990 and has begun quilting since then. She has always wanted to quilt, but didn't have the time with family and her career coming first. Now she finds she loves her hobby and will still continue designing as the time permits. She has been the featured quilter at the annual Quilt Show put on by the Oregon Coastal Quilters Guild.
